Basil is used to relieve water retention, high blood pressure, fevers, coughs and digestive system problems.

COMMON USES:

CIRCULATORY: arthritis/rheumatism, poor circulation.

DIGESTIVE: dyspepsia/indigestion, flatulence/gas, heartburn, intestinal spasm, nausea, poor appetite.

IMMUNE: colds, earache, fever, herpes (cold sore), influenza, shingles. LIMBIC: depression, insomnia, mental fatigue.

NERVOUS: anxiety, fatigue, headache/migraine, hiccups.

REPRODUCTIVE: poor adrenal function, cramping, menstrual pain.
